Club 202

Amidst ringlets of smoke,
In a moon lit night,
sipping onto a 'mint' hookah,
things couldn't have been more right!!!!

loads of things to yap about,
time slipping away,
came down a mustached man,
asked,"mind leaving, eh???"

Tryin' to buy some time out,
"One last song" said Chote,
askin' Anna to go ahead & play,
'Sabse peeche hum khade...'

Getting high on our fav song,
& thus chimneying away,
The only topic left to talk was,
'What's love anyway???"

Chote came up with an interesting liner,
'Love all 'bout sacrifice'
an' then reclining into his unusual hunch,
sayin' "For now this would suffice,"

fighting for the hookah stub,
coughing both his lungs dry,
Jat, who's a success in love,
says "Anna, its your turn to try..."

The song through to midway,
Anna had just a quote to say,
'Love's the most simplest thing,
it's we who complicate it any which way,'

That's the end to the story,
Of the moon lit December night,
I apologize for the abrupt end,
couldn't figure out what to write....

Sessions like this happen quite often,
That's what is club 202,
many more things i have to share,
but for now its taalewoo.......

MICA PGP CME

MICA –EDC PGP CME

17th August, Friday 2007
So here I am…………In GLS campus, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, pursuing my Post Graduate Program in Communications Management and Entrepreneurship. For all those who don’t have any damn idea of what am I talking about, let me take this opportunity to put some light on the heading. MICA is Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, EDC stands for Entrepreneur Development centre and I have already spoken about PGPCME so no repeats. Ok I would also like to put down some rules in here………this is a beginning of a series of blogs about MICA-EDC program called PGP CME and it is strictly about my experiences during the course of 15 months when I’m here 491 kms away from my hometown “amchi Mumbai’. So Please don’t expect anything about my infatuations about any girls or any hidden romances, this is gonna be strictly my professional exp. For all those who would be joining the course next year, coz people might have many apprehensions, although less than what we had being the first batch. And yes WE ARE THE FIRST BATCH OF THIS PROGRAM BY MICA. So what you would be getting is a first hand exp. On a daily basis if possible or else weekly which ever is feasible.

So the course was inaugurated on the 60th Independence Day of India. An auspicious beginning I must say!!!!!!!!!!! Although nothing much happened that day, I mean nothing worth mentioning except for the Laptops. Had loads of fun that night in the apartment!!!!!! Oh yes, forgot to mention about the apartments. A decent accommodation to say the least! But “chalta hai” or “Chala lenge” would certainly serve the purpose as of now.

The next day was much better and unexpectedly a long day……………we had loads of activities happening that day in the GLS campus beginning from individual introduction, to field work. But the icing on the cake was for sure the skit that all of us had in the audi. All actors, non actors please take a bow coz you all deserve it. The skit topics ranged from ‘Toddler classroom’ to ‘Earthquake, flood, fire, volcano coming down for a dinner party” now how often do you come across such titles? We also had a skit on ‘Female feoticide’ which unlike the seriousness of the topic was conceived in a humorous and a thoughtful way……………Clear indication that I am among the MICAn’s!!!!!!! Also there were eminent personalities from the industry………..Mr. I. Raina, CEO OOH Media and Dr. S. Nagakatti, Times private Treaties, BCCL being the chief guest! Dr. Nagarkatti was so damn impressed that he straightaway offered us jobs in his firm……………now that’s called good fortune!. For those of you who don't have any idea who is this Dr.Nagarkatti, he's a full time practicing surgeon and part time brand and marketing professional, has done loads of self help programs and god knows what not.................All in all a daunting personality!!!!!!!And so was Mr. Raina, he's IIMC grad., worked for lintas co. headed many companies, one of which is OOH Media..............

Today, that’s the 17th august’07 we had Dr. G. Jain take the lectures. What a personality!!!!!!!!!has loads of teaching exp. ranging from IIM to UN, was instrumental in turning around Uganda's economy with his entrepreneurship programs conducted as an assignment for UN. All this was magnified when we were told that he's from a small town in Rajasthan. But then he's worked with thought leaders like Mr. P. Khandwala and that explains his profound views about the future of business..................I wonder may be in a few days Mr. Jain would be called the new age thought leader and we would have the privilage to be the students of a great man who has scores of book and theory to his credit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
